Yeast paste is a pure natural product separated and concentrated from fresh brewer's yeast lotion (enzymolysis). It is rich in balanced essential amino acids, B vitamins, nucleotides, polypeptides and trace elements, and is an essential growth element for various microorganisms.
Yeast paste is a thick, brownish yellow viscous liquid with a special odor, but without a putrid odor. Soluble in water, yellow to brown in color, and weakly acidic in reaction. The yeast extract treated by enzymatic hydrolysis has a higher amino nitrogen content, which is more conducive to bacterial cultivation.
